A figure sits wrapped head to foot in bandages, chains looped loosely across the chest and wrists, with a single pale blue eye still showing through a gap in the wrapping.
The wrapping took most of an afternoon. It was thorough work, done carefully and in the correct order, and it covered everything a person could reasonably be expected to cover. There is still one eye left over, and eventually somebody is going to look into it and say something friendly, and then the entire day has to start again from the beginning.
It did not work.
